Thanksgiving is traditionally a time to reflect upon, and give thanks for, all that we have been blessed with. For many of the individuals and families we serve, at times the things they can be thankful for seem sparse.
On their behalf, we would like to thank all of you who have donated turkeys for families in our domestic violence shelter, and other families we serve, who otherwise would not have been able to enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner.
We would also like to thank all of the friends of FSS, the volunteers who work so diligently to help us advance our mission, and the thousands of supporters who through your generosity allow us to steadily move forward in what can be trying times.
Those of you who have donated money and essential items to support our Domestic Violence Shelter and our Veteran Resource Center, and have already begun donating Christmas gifts for children in our services- these men, women and children are blessed by your generosity.
So a very Happy Thanksgiving to all of you and a heartfelt thank you for all you do.
